DAOTY 2010: Scott Barry… The most hated man in Philadelphia.

Douche Nozzle: (From Urban Dictonary)
1) The underappreciated apparatus of the Douche that actually does the stinky work. Attached to the Douche Bag. 2) A male who acts and looks like an utter jackass. Someone who transcends common insults to the point that simply calling him a “jackass” or “douchebag” will no longer do. Much more offensive than simply calling someone a douchebag.Examples:1) “Check out the cell phone clip on that Douche Nozzle”.
2) “Can you believe that Douche Nozzle? He’s walking around the party, talking to fat chicks and searching for an ‘Insert Here’ sign”.
3) Oliver from Spring Break.
Philly says….Pay 300 bucks and you can blog!
by Jay Calderwood on Aug.25, 2010, under Constitution and Bill of Rights, Freedom, local
Wow… It seems everyone now wants to encroach on everyone’s rights. The city of Philadelphia wants a “business privilege license” for you to blog on the internet. This also includes if you are NOT getting profit and our just mouthing off on issues like me. Since bloggers in most states are considered journalists, this is illegal… Oh this gets better:
This $300 “business privilege license” is for all local bloggers – even the ones that make no money off their words.
The city doesn’t stop there. In addition to the $300 for the license to write on the World Wide Web, bloggers must pay city wage taxes, business privilege taxes and taxes on any net profits — on top of state and federal taxes — even if the blogger only made $11 over two years, reports the City Paper.
Not only is this hilariously insulting, this is totally illegal. I am glad that I don’t live in Philly no more…. I live in New Jersey where we can do any damned thing we want. So, my question is what are they going to tax next? I know Philly is broke, but come on now… This is getting ridiculous.
DAOTY 2010: Trade Cliff Lee and get….

A Coke head…. Tyson Gillies was hooked this morning in Clearwater. Great job Phillies. This is such a fair trade. Hell, the way I look at it he didn’t use the juice…
Story here….
Phillies prospect Tyson Gillies, one of the three players acquired in the Cliff Lee trade this past off-season, was arrested for cocaine possession in Clearwater, Fla., early Friday morning.
Gillies, 21, was arrested by Pinellas County Sheriff’s Officers at 1:48 a.m. Friday morning, according to a spokeswoman. The possession charge is a felony.
He was found by police at the La Quinta Inn on Route 19 in Clearwater, less than a mile from the Phillies’ spring training complex.
The team issued the following statement:
“The Phillies have confirmed that Tyson Gillies was charged today on a drug possession charge arising out of an incident that was alleged to have occurred in June. Because this is an open case, we will not comment further at this time.”
Cecilia Barreda, the public information officer for the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, said the original incident occurred June 11 in Clearwater.
A patrol officer witnessed Gillies standing on the shoulder of Route 19 near Enterprise Blvd. in Clearwater at 3:24 a.m. Gillies was waving a white shirt at passing motorists. The patrol officer stopped to speak with Gillies and noticed he was intoxicated.
Gillies told the officer he was waving the shirt so his friends could see him. He told the officer he was trying to find a way back to his hotel down the street after spending several hours at Freaki Tiki, a nearby bar.
The officer asked Gillies if he had enough money for a taxi to take him back to the hotel. He did not, so the officer offered a courtesy ride for Gillies.

The NL East and Wild Card races are heating up. The Phillies are battered and bruised but they are winning for the most part. The Giants had their number tonight, but we are still 1 up in the Wild Card and 2.5 down in the division.
I am very confident in our Rotation and our offense. Speaking of the offense it will be more potent once Ryno comes back. I am so excited for the end of the season and for playoffs. October/November is my favorite time of year.
Bidic Reopens…..Great.

It seems like our favorite scam artist is back in business….However, he isn’t opening up his Williamstown location. Why? Because most of the scam came from that location. The state of New Jersey only suspended their license for only 2 months, but most of the problems are supposedly fixed.
I still can’t get anywhere with any help. It’s only a matter of time before they do it again. Nick Bidic and family are indeed criminals and hopefully the MVC and the state of New Jersey will send them to jail so be punished for what they did to unsuspecting people.
What the hell is going on in DelCo?
by Jay Calderwood on Aug.07, 2010, under local
Well it seems like the scum bags in DelCo like their kiddy porn. This dude got busted once, and less than a year out of the joint, he violates his parole.
f sex offender Anthony Diodoro was awake before his probation officer paid him a surprise visit, maybe he would have had a chance to hide the Apple laptop that authorities say was stocked full of kiddie porn. But some folks apparently never learn.
Diodoro was busted in June less than a year after he was released following a conviction upheld in a landmark state Supreme Court case in May 2009 that determined viewing and accessing child-porn over the Internet constitutes “control” of it.
The 30-year-old tattoo artist from Ridley Township was charged yesterday with 25 counts of possession of child pornography and criminal use of a communication facility after he allegedly downloaded kiddie porn via LimeWire, said Delaware County District Attorney G. Michael Green.
Probation officers visited Diodoro’s home in June, on Baltimore Avenue near Belmont, and found him asleep in the basement. The officers found the laptop on the floor after Diodoro’s father allowed them into the house.
Many of the 72 videos that police found featured prepubescent children engaged in sexual acts, and several involved the same female toddler, who was younger than 3, Green said.
Diodoro was prohibited from unsupervised use of a computer as part of his probation. Prosecutors said Diodoro admitted to police that the laptop was his.
He was first convicted for viewing child-porn in 2005 and sentenced to nine to 23 months in jail followed by five years’ probation.
Well I am glad this scum is in jail, but instead of locking him in the hole, which they will because he will get killed, they should give him the help that he needs. Jail is supposed to be for rehabilitation. But he won’t get it and he will commit this crime yet again…. The circle will not end.

DAOTY2010: Facebook posts can bite you in the ass.
by Jay Calderwood on Aug.07, 2010, under Dumb Ass of the Year 2010
It is that time of year again my friends.. Time that I find dumb asses and post their exploits online. Here’s the first one:
People forget that posting things on a public facebook page can and will bite you in the ass…
Link here
WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn. – A Connecticut school superintendent has been placed on leave and officials are considering whether to fire him over comments he posted on Facebook.
The Windsor Locks Board of Education took the action Thursday against Superintendent David Telesca, who’s been on the job for only a month.
Telesca admits a lapse of judgment, but calls the board’s decision an overreaction and a violation of his contract.
The Hartford Courant reports Telesca wrote on Facebook that his first day on the $150,000-a-year job involved “counseling an administrator to retire or face termination,” and ended the comment with a smiley face.
He also wrote that he slept until 10 a.m. on his first day, and it would be “the best job ever” if that happened every day.

Well it looks like the head lights and internal lights of my truck are DOA. The electrical system is burnt out. This was recalled WAY WAY back in 2001 and that it was never taken care of either by the previous owner or the assclowns, people I purchased it from…Bidic Autolines. (Do a search on Bidic on this blog and on google if you are not familiar with the scam they pulled on unsuspecting people).
I called around to chevy dealers and they refuse to help me, so I will not buy another fucking chevy again. I am looking at getting a Ford F150 or ranger and I will give the truck as a gift to the finance company…
Meanwhile I am waiting for the Consumers Affairs, another lawyer, and BBB to get back to me to see what recourse that I have.
