There is one discouraging thing about this. That is when I am reading through all the blog posts that are tagged as #Ron Paul, I see a lot of kids (of voting age) supporting Dr. Paul based solely on the fact he wants to End the War on Drugs. This alone isn’t why Ron Paul should be President, in fact this is why the establishment, those who are against Ron Paul and the more important undecided voters think that all Ron Paul supporters are hippie drug heads, who’s only purpose is to get Ron Paul elected just to get high legally.
I am not opposed to ending the illegal war on drugs. The government should not tell us what we can and cannot do with our bodies. If you look at the 1920’s when alcohol prohibition was illegal, it failed. There were still “illegal” breweries, bars, and parties still going on, moonshine was being made in bath tubs and people were dying. The prohibition of alcohol ended and alcohol became federally taxed and regulated. This stopped the deaths from making your own moonshine. This also brought in money to help dig out of the depression and return money back to the government and the economy. We need to end the prohibition on cannibus. If you think….”Oh great another political pot head”, don’t, I stand tall on the Constitution and believe in it fully.
It would be beneficial to our cause, to our candidate and to the future of America and the Constitution to do your research and see what else Ron Paul believes in. Less spending and less government. He also wants to repeal the dangerous, and unconstitutional Patriot Act, SOPA and the NDAA bills that Obama passed so he can control the people and install a socialist government in America. The only candidate to return the Government to her people is Ron Paul. Research and make up your own mind.
